Start by priming the eye lid with a cream eyeshadow base. I’m using MAC Paint Pot in Stormy Pink. It’s a pinky-plum colour which really helps to enhance a green eye colour. Use it on it’s own for a more down-played and softer look.
Using a fluffy blender brush, sweep the eyelid with the Sweetheart shade from the eye Tarte shadow palette. This will build a soft and neutral base for this smoky look.
To create depth and dimension, and to extend the eye shape, contour the outer corner of the eye with a dark-brown eyeshadow like Tarte Smokeshow. Be sure to blend out the shadow using a sideways “V” formation to really accentuate an almond eye shape.
Using an angled liner brush, trace the lower lash line with Tarte Smokeshow, then rim the waterline with black waterproof eyeliner. Tightlining is a technique that deposits pigment at the base of the eyelid. It tightens the shape of the eyes, fills in any gaps and really enhances the iris.
After you’ve curled your eyelashes and coated them with black mascara, finish the look by applying a deep dusty-rose lip colour to the mouth, like this Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Firenze.
Your new look is complete.
